Back Pain
Up to 90% of back pain is classified as non-specific. This means it is not linked to any structural issues in the spine, such as arthritis, disc herniations, or inflammation.
Non-specific back pain is most commonly associated with overloading of the muscles, joints, or connective tissue. This strain on the musculoskeletal system can result from various factors, such as prolonged sitting, excessive physical activity, or repetitive movements.
Physiotherapy is the first choice for treating back pain, as it can often help relax overstrained tissues or compensate for activities that trigger the pain through targeted exercises.
