Cervicogenic Headache
Headaches are one of the most common conditions that cause work absenteeism and reduce quality of life.
One often overlooked cause of headaches can be the cervical spine, leading to what is known as cervicogenic headache. The distinction between cervicogenic pain and migraines can sometimes be blurred, and it is not always possible to fully differentiate between the two. Cervicogenic pain can radiate from the neck, typically starting at the back of the neck and traveling up one side of the head, sometimes reaching the eye. Unfortunately, these symptoms are not always alleviated by common painkillers.

However, it has been shown that physiotherapy significantly reduces the intensity, frequency, and duration of cervicogenic headaches.
